We accept commissions calmly and in queue — no hard selling, no rushing the studio.
After we accept your order, painting usually enters the schedule within 2–3 business days. Every piece is 100% original hand-painted oil (never a print or template). A typical cycle is about 2 weeks; large or highly complex works need a separate timeline.
Our team includes professionally trained painters and experienced oil portraitists focused on likeness and custom subjects.
We only accept work we are confident we can do well; if an order is not a fit, we will tell you honestly. Progress and quality are managed tightly so delivery stays on time.
Quality first: senior artists paint by hand — no student fill-ins, no digital prints sold as oil.
Price follows size, subjects, and complexity. We do not bargain or race to the bottom. Photo-to-oil and other styles are welcome. Handmade work cannot be a 100% pixel match to a photo — please respect the uniqueness of brushwork.
Quotes normally include a standard international shipping plan. Carrier and timing are confirmed on the order, with a tracking number provided.
Price is driven mainly by size and complexity. Large works may need reinforced packing (e.g. a wooden crate) at extra cost. You may supply your own canvas to reduce cost; framing is often done locally after delivery (or chosen at checkout if offered).
We do not accept purely imaginative commissions with no reference. Please provide clear photos plus exact size and requirements.
We evaluate the reference before accepting. Vague text-only briefs without usable visuals may be declined. Quality always comes first.
Phone photos of work-in-progress may show color shift; the physical painting is the reference. We send a preview for approval before shipping or stretching when applicable.
Our artists have deep experience. We discourage non-professional micromanagement of brushwork and composition. If you insist on a specific change, we can execute it, but you accept the risk to the final look — we cannot guarantee that forced change.
Standard flow: submit request & photo → quote → deposit (~70%) to start → preview approval → balance (~30%) → ship.
Secure international payment (e.g. PayPal). Painting begins after the deposit; we ship after the balance is paid. Track quote and progress anytime in My Account.
Your photos are used only for this commission. Copyright and likeness terms follow the order agreement; tell us in advance for commercial use.
If the parcel arrives damaged, contact us within the stated window with photos — we will help under our after-sales policy. See shipping and returns pages for details.
These rules protect craftsmanship and a smooth experience for both sides. For special cases, contact support in advance — ArtCustom Studio will coordinate within reason.
